- The mission of the Inter American University system is to develop the talents of men and women regardless of race, color, religion, gender, age or nationality. The Bayamón Campus is a specialized academic unit of the Inter American University system. The academic emphases of the Campus are in science and technology and in the development of an entrepreneurship mentality. In 1988, the Board of Trustees approved the Mission and Goals statement for the Bayamón Campus.
