  • The University of Toronto has three campuses, offering hundreds of areas of study. These undergraduate programs require secondary school preparation and lead to a Bachelor’s degree.

  • Costs
    The cost of attending university varies according to your program of study and place of residence during the academic year (September to May). Students living at home can expect to have costs of at least $9000; Canadian citizens and permanent residents living away from home can anticipate costs in the $16,000 to $17,500 range. These include domestic tuition fees, incidental fees, faculty or college fees, books, boarding and lodging, local transportation and miscellaneous expenses.

  • Scholarships
    The University of Toronto, its colleges and faculties award approximately 1,500 admission scholarships and approximately 2,500 in-course scholarships each year. Admission Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic standing. All students are automatically considered for scholarships during the admissions process.

    Financial Aid Guarantee
    For students that are Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada, the University of Toronto is committed to the principle that no student admitted to a program will be unable to enroll or complete the program due to lack of financial means.     International Students
    Citizens of the United States are eligible for U.S. federal loan assistance, may use recognized educational savings plans and will qualify for federal education tax credits. Please visit the Admissions & Awards website for full funding details available to U.S. students.

    International students outside of the U.S. and Canada in need of financial assistance should consult funding agencies in their home country.

    Work opportunities are available to international students. Students registered in Co-op programs at U of T Scarborough or Professional Experience Year programs have the opportunity for paid work placement as part of their academic program. Those who qualify may seek employment either on or off campus. Assistance in seeking employment is available through the U of T Career Centre.
