  • Description:
  • MASTER OF FINE ARTS - STUDIO ART

Designed as an intimate and intensive program, MFA students are provided ample studio space to develop a mature body of work in one of five studio-art disciplines – ceramics, graphic design, painting, printmaking, or sculpture. Study incorporates active studio practice coupled with rigorous intellectual inquiry though independent study, self-motivated research, and engagement in multi-disciplinary MFA seminars with fellow graduate students. Further enriched by the Visiting Artist/Scholar Program, students are challenged to study theory, philosophy, and practices that will enhance their artistic growth.
