In an education program point of view, standardized tests help teachers and administrators evaluate the school system, a school program, or a particular student. They look at the scores from their school and compare to students from other schools taking the exact same test. So the standardized exam serves like a benchmark for comparison.

But the important thing to keep in mind is not one test score can cause you or decide for you if you are going to college or not. They look at your GPA and other things in your profile.
