    Northern State University seeks one full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor or Instructor of Biology (Anatomy & Physiology) with the start date of August 2025.

    Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master’s (Instructor) or Ph.D. (tenure-track Assistant Professor) in Biology or a closely related field. ABD candidates with a definite completion date prior to August 2025 will be considered.

    The successful candidate will possess:
    * A commitment to excellence in undergraduate education.
    * Enthusiasm for engaging with a diverse range of students, staff, and faculty.
    * Willingness to teach both face-to-face and online courses.
    * Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine enthusiasm for collegiality and collaboration.
    * Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
    * Teaching experience is desired, particularly the ability to teach Human Anatomy and Physiology.
    * Experience working with human cadavers is preferred.

    Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to:
    * Design and teach undergraduate Anatomy & Physiology courses utilizing human cadavers, along with other courses tailored to the candidate’s expertise and departmental needs.
    * If tenure-track, develop a research program that sparks student interest and participation.
    * Participate in service activities including supporting student recruitment and retention efforts
