Coroner: Alcohol, Drugs Involved In Student's Death

An 18-year-old Indiana University student died over the weekend after he drove to Ball State University to party with friends.

The Delaware County coroner said there is evidence that indicates that Jarrod Polston was drinking and using drugs before he passed out in the Studebaker West Residence Hall at about 3 a.m. Saturday.

The coroner's report indicated that Polston vomited while unconscious, blocking his airway.
