Eric Jones Library at Atlantic Union College is to support the college curriculum by providing AUC students, faculty and staff with exceptional library and information programs, resources, services, and environments so that they, as life-long learners, are given the tools they need to achieve excellence in their scholarly and academic pursuits.

    History


    The G. Eric Jones Library building was dedicated on April 17, 1970. It is named in honor of G. Eric Jones, who served as college president from 1936-1948. A contemporary structure of stone, brick and glass, the main and second floors house the library, while the lower (basement) level houses the Education/Psychology Department, English Language Institute and Modern Language program.
