  • The Mathematics Tutoring Lab is directed by Melissa Graham and staffed by Tutors who are undergraduate majors & graduate students since they have demonstrated high academic standards in mathematics courses.  Tutors may be a future teacher or student who enjoys mathematics & assisting students with learning mathematics.

In addition, the wages for Tutors are funded by Course Fees that EWU assesses quarterly to provide tutoring service for students enrolled in any of the following courses:  MATH  100, 101, 102, 103A/B, 104, 105, 106, 114, 115, 161, 162, 163, 200, 211, 212, 380, and 385.  Therefore, students enrolled in the preceding math courses will have first priority to receive assistance from a Tutor in the Mathematics Tutoring Lab.  Note:  Average Math Course Fee assessed quarterly is $11.54 per student.

Students enrolled in math courses without an assessed Course Fee are welcome to study in the Mathematics Tutoring Lab (KGS 337) and may be asssisted by a Tutor when possible.

Please refer below to the Mathematics Tutoring Lab Schedule for the hours of operation and list that identifies mathematics courses a Tutor is qualified to providing tutoring.
