Services will be provided on an appointment and walk-in basis:
Treatment of acute illnesses
Ongoing management of chronic conditions, such as asthma, allergies, diabetes
Immunizations and TB screening
Minor emergency care, including treatment of injuries and asthma exacerbations
Referral to specialty care as needed
Collaboration with counseling services
for care of mental health, e.g. depression, substance use, eating disorders
On campus pharmacy for routine medications
Fees and Charges:
Services usually rendered by a school nurse, including provision of over the counter medications, will be free of charge.
Office visits with the physician will result in a fee to be paid at the time of the visit. A claim form will be provided which can be directly filed with the student's insurance carrier for reimbursement. It is the student's responsibility to submit the claim form to his/her insurance provider for reimbursement.
