One Health Epidemiology introduces the foundational principles and methods used to study the distribution and determinants of disease in populations. Through real-world examples, students will learn to analyze health data, assess risk and causality in clinical situations, evaluate study designs and preventive health interventions, demonstrate proper use and interpretation of screening tests, and monitor emerging health threats. Emphasis is placed on climate change impacts in the Arctic and how epidemiology can guide interventions to improve health outcomes using a One Health lens.
